Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with coding and billing procedures
- Proficient in medication administration techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inhale medical procedures and equipment
