Position Purpose/Summary: This position performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
- Has proven experience and/or knowledge to qualify as an RTS/Inventory Handler.

Trained to be a certified fork truck driver.

Assist with line set-ups by verifying that material is located in our building.

Communicate any material shortages to appropriate departments.

Close-out the production orders.
-
Make sure all finished goods are properly outputted.
- Cycle count all unused inventory that was issued to the production order.

Investigate all completed production orders with high inventory variances.

Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with handling and moving material.

If necessary, the RTS/Inventory Handler must be willing and able to work flexible hours (including overtime) to meet the needs of our customers.

Follows Company policies, procedures and instructions.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
-
Any other requests made by Warehouse Coordinator or Operations Manager.

Expected to be exposed to/trained in handling hazardous materials with annual refresher training. These

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
- High school education or equivalent expected.

Associate’s Degree highly preferred
Experience:
-
One year of previous experience in a warehouse environment

The ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

Demonstrated capacity to receive work direction and perform to the expectation assigned.

Ability to work in fast paced environment and multi-task in a multi-discipline.

Understands how to participate as a member of a team; supports the goals of the team.

Willing and able to work alongside a variety of people, with emphasis on respect and safety.

Physical Capabilities
Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion):

Have ability to regularly lift, carry, turn and raise; and/or lift turn and bend down to place a unit weighing up to 50 lb. on to a pallet or stack of units. Frequency could be every 3 to 5 seconds.

Have ability to retrieve merchandise from shelves up to 6 feet high.

The ability to be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, non-toxic fumes and airborne particles, blowing dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, proximity to extreme heat, and moving mechanical parts
