Your Role
We are seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager to help ensure smooth office operations and reinforce a positive culture. The ideal candidate has strong office-related skills, great communication, and is passionate about the employee experience.
The Office Manager reports to the Sr. People Operations & Culture Associate. He/she/they will work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide front desk reception, ensuring availability for anticipated deliveries or visitors
- Welcome and direct office visitors including job candidates and external stakeholders
- Liaise with property manager, maintenance crews, and outside contacts for parking cards, building maintenance, and any other necessary communications
- Place routine office supply orders and maintain clean presentation of storage spaces
- Place weekly snack orders and catering orders for monthly events
- Ensure all kitchens remain stocked, clean, and welcoming. Duties include: the upkeep on the beverage machines and related supplies, loading and emptying the dishwashers, putting away supply/food shipments, wiping down counters, tables, chairs, etc.
- Maintain a tidy and clean office environment for employees and visitors
- Place equipment orders for new hires and set up new hire desks
- Check mail boxes regularly, distribute mail, and assist teams with any postal needs
- Help set up presentations and other special events and ensure that conference rooms are welcoming
- Perform administrative work to support People Operations; including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and any special projects
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Office Administration or Customer Service
- Experience delivering high quality employee or customer experience
- Excellent organization skills including calendar and schedule maintenance
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Suite and MS Office
Interpersonal:
- Team player with proven ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excitement for startups and building from the ground up; willing to roll your sleeves up to get things done, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
Hours and Compensation
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $50,000 - $70,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

- The position will be in-person Monday - Thursday, with Fridays in-person as needed
