Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, 1.0 FTE
Location: Varies – All TSD Buildings
Reports to: Director of Special Education
Salary: All newly hired teachers to be placed on Step 1 of the appropriate degree lane. Salary amount to be
determined per Schedule A of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Required Certification and experiences:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience in supporting significant behavior challenges; leading the functional behavior assessment process and
development of positive behavior support plans, providing hands-on training to staff responsible for implementing the
plan, and appropriately fading support to ensure student success
- Knowledgeable in special education rules and procedures as it relates to students with and without IEPs
- Leadership experience in providing problem solving and professional learning on topics related to behavior analysis
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the behavior support team; provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to behavior support
technicians
- Consult, assist, and collaborate with building teams to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and support the
development and implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans.
- Assist building teams in planning and the provision of hands-on training of general education teachers, special
education teachers, ancillary staff, and support staff regarding the implementation of specific individualized and/or
class-wide positive behavior interventions and supports
- Support & collaborate with Behavior Support Coordinator to provide professional learning regarding Positive Behavior
Intervention Supports and Functional Behavior Assessment processes to general education and special education
staff, administration, support staff and parents.
- Work collaboratively with all school staff to promote the continued focus on positive school climate and supporting all
students in the least restrictive environment.
