We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our team. The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing audit engagements, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Management: Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients, including planning, execution, and completion of audits in accordance with relevant auditing standards and firm guidelines.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for audit-related matters and providing exceptional client service.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and senior auditors, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise on complex audit issues, including accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of audit work papers and financial statements, adhering to the firm’s quality control policies and procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess audit risks, developing and implementing appropriate audit strategies to mitigate risks and ensure audit objectives are achieved.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in audit engagements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes and developments in auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Special Projects: Manage and participate in special projects, including due diligence, internal audits, and other assurance services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $125,572.00 - $133,436.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
