Duties
- Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Knowledge of medical documentation, aseptic technique, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
