This position is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, supporting physicians during examinations and procedures, and ensuring a smooth flow of patient services within the clinic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES*
Provides clinical services and/or ensures that clinical services are covered by supported staff:
a. Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB/GYN patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
b. Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
c. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering medications, and managing patient records.
d. Educate patients and their families on reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and other related topics.
e. Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
f. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
g. Support clinic operations by managing appointment schedules, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring medical supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
h. Adhere to infection control protocols and other safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
i. Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in OB/GYN nursing practices.
j. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:*
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
Additional/Preferred Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in an OB/GYN clinical setting.

Certifications and Licenses:*
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Salary
$30 - $35 per hour
