Job Purpose
The Squad Leader (Team Leader) or Field Supervisor plans for assigned missions and carries out the orders issued by the Platoon Sergeant (Manager). They are also responsible for the discipline, training, control, conduct, and welfare of his squad at all times, as well as the condition, care, and economical and effective use of its equipment. During operations, they are responsible for the tactical employment, discipline, control, sustainment, and maneuver of their squad. Squad Leader Responsibility Tracker, agent folders, and all other resources provided to you by RiP, should be utilized to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position in accordance with RiP expectations, standards, and guidelines. A Squad Leader is to be a proactive and positive member of the organization. They must empower and support their subordinate Team Leaders to carry out their duties and responsibilities.
Agent Responsibilities:
- Perform security patrols of designated area on foot and/or vehicle
- Watch for irregular/unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Permit authorized person to enter and monitor entrances and exits
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
- Maintain working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations
- Complete daily activity log, log attendance entries, and enter any incident reports
- Make recommendations to management for better safety and loss prevention during daily routine
- Ensure continuous and safe operation of relevant equipment
- Travel throughout PA, WV and OH (other locations as needed)
Squad Leader Responsibilities:
- Tasks Team Leaders and ensures tasks are being completed.
- Counsel Team Leaders and supervise Agent counselings.
- Follows tasks and directives from higher command; tasks subordinates and supervises.
- Performs site audits ensuring that agents are performing all duties and the site is fully serviced and operational.
- Maintains contact and works on building relationships with clients.
- Collects information on current and future operations and passses up pertinent information.
- Holds all agents accountable to SOP’s.
- Holds themselves accountable to all SOP’s and is constantly seeking self improvement.
Agent Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to manage a team is preferred
- Ability to operate CB radio, telephone, and stanchion
- Honest, alert, and well disciplined
- Ability to be a hands-on, results oriented employee, handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to facilitate progressive change, work as part of a team, and follow direction
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements for Joining RIP USA Security Teams
- Must be able to walk and stand for periods at a time
- Occasional and brief exposure to the elements
Additional Information for Security Agent
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to legally work in the United States

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
