The ideal candidate must be able to wear many different hats and contribute to a range of projects. This job requires over 40% travel both within North America and internationally to perform the emissions testing equipment setup and project management for extended durations.

THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION (about 40% of the time)
Essential Job Functions:
- Deploy the emission testing equipment
- Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
- Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility, testing methods, and testing properties.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
- Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests as well as running calculations.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services.
- Maintain system and product database by writing computer programs and entering data.
- Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.

- Able to pull and maneuver a small trailer (i.e. a boat trailer or small U-haul trailer)

Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum, 3 years experience with a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be Solidworks proficient
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be an innovative thinker who takes initiative and is able to take on projects with little guidance while maintaining cost-control measures
- Must have the ability to think and work quickly while thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented, highly organized, able to document work
- Must be a willing to travel over 40% of the time
