Front Desk Guest Services Staff ( 14-20 hr/week, every other weekend required) Hours worked will be between 3p and 9p.
Job Summary ~ The Front Desk Guest Services staff provide non-judgmental supervision and supportive services to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and are utilizing the Day Resource Center.
Essential Functions:
- Welcoming each guest to the Center in a friendly manner.
- Answering the phone and providing helpful information to those in a housing crisis.
- Provide needed supplies to guests (hygiene products, mail).
- Provide guidance and encouragement to guests.
- Ensures the facility is clean.
- Provides assistance with meal service (heating up/serving/cleaning up), when volunteers are not available.
- Contributes to a positive atmosphere by enforcing program rules and procedures.
- Assist with emergency shift coverage on short notice, when needed
Rotating days that include every other weekend and holidays
