Title: Sales Engineer (Software)
Location: Hybrid onsite Tampa 3 days/week
Travel: Up to 50% Domestic & International- realistic travel is 10-15%
Job Title: Sales Engineer Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Sales Engineering Director
Essential Functions:
- Ability to demonstrate compelling functional and technical software presentations
- Bring a consultative sales approach related to the entire sales cycle and serve as a trusted advisor when interacting with new or existing clients.
- Help account executives drive new business and qualify sales opportunities
- Ability to articulate value proposition and competitive differentiators
- Continue to develop product knowledge and industry expertise
- Assist in keeping demonstration environment current
- Record and document all sales activities and contribute to the Sales and Marketing CRM system
Skills/Competencies:
- Familiarity with project-based, ERP or Enterprise level software
- A fundamental understanding of project financial management and standard accounting processes/principals
- Ability to create and deliver compelling software demonstrations and presentations
- Knowledge of Microsoft software architecture including SQL* Server, Power BI, MS Project, MS CRM, and basic windows network OS
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – a proven ability to articulate a solution’s business value and benefits

- Well versed in MS Office and Outlook, as well as Internet based applications
- Knowledge of MSCRM system
Education, prior work experience:
· Four-year BA/BS degree
- 2+ years practical experience with project-based and/or financial-based ERP applications
- Prior experience as a software implementation consultant or sales engineer, strongly preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the Architecture and Engineering industry is a plus

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
