Regency Home Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our Education Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a strong background in special education.
This is a Monday - Friday position
8:30a - 3:30p Elementary
7:00a - 2:30p Middle and High School
(** do not apply if you cannot commit to the full 24/25 school year**)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Support students in various educational settings, including classrooms and therapy sessions
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students with learning and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment
- Help students develop social skills and independence
- Utilize knowledge of childhood development to support student growth
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong math skills to support student learning
