Position:
Machine Operator/Manufacturing 10 hrs. - 4 Day Work Week --- Air Conditioned / Heated Facility.
Shift:
Monday - Friday
7am - 5:30pm
Package:
Full time role
$16.55 / hour with scope of increases at 60 days, 6, and 12 months with “meets expectations” review

About the company:
The company is a provider of specialty PET packaging products for the beverage market – particularly large containers (10 – 30 liters) for beer, wine, and water.
Function:
Based in Caldwell, ID the Machine Operator will report to the Production Supervisor / Production Lead as required. The Machine Operator will participate in a work team to operate a blow-molding line producing various bottles for the beverage industry. This position requires attention to detail & repetitive motions while ensuring quality standards are being upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Participating with a team of operators to ensure production outputs and efficiencies are achieved
- Ensuring that quality standards are achieved on the line and perform some quality controls
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures as laid out by leadership
- Train new operators on various workstations from time to time
- Report production issues through to the production supervisor / production lead
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership about product issues or suggestions
- Support various tasks before machine start-up, ex: setting up workstation, helping ensure all workstations are prepared for production, tasks as needed handed down from leadership
- Support various tasks after machine shut-down, ex: sweeping area, collecting, and counting rejected product, tasks as needed handed down from leadership.
- No job is too small
Skills & experience:
- Previous experience of manufacturing operations & product handling. Experience working in a manufacturing facility which can have high levels of noise. Plastic manufacturing experience is not required but preferred.
- Operate [Forklifts / Hand tools] to assist in the production process is a plus.
Education
High school diploma or GED
