We are seeking to add an office assistant with extraordinary people skills including building customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.
To be successful in this position you must be a friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic, and positive team player who enjoys working with a small, close-knit team.
Must have experience with insurance companies and medical billing.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Review and analyze medical records, invoices, and insurance claims
- Verify the accuracy of patient information, diagnosis codes (ICD-9/ICD-10), and procedure codes
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or errors
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing inquiries or disputes
- Prepare and submit claims for reimbursement to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials to ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate records of billing activities

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in medical billing or coding required
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical office procedures
- Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We carry post-breast surgery garments including mastectomy bras, prostheses, compression sleeves, wigs and accessories. Additional retail items that can be purchased off the rack including camisoles, tank tops, t-shirts, swimsuits, hats and scarves.`
