National Veterinary Associates/ Cat Clinic of Greensboro is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. This position will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting the veterinary team with front desk duties. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Schedule patients for appointments.
- Perform receptionist duties such as checking patient information on inbound calls, inputting payments, and other administrative tasks.
- Greet patients, their family members, and visitors upon arrival.
- Update patient information in the practice management system.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain an organized front desk area with all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications.
- Cleaning of the office areas including but not limited to cages, litter boxes, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
·Previous reception or administrative experience preferred but not required.
·Excellent customer service skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to learn new computer programs; flexibility with changing priorities; ability to work overtime when needed (up to 10 hours per week); good organizational skills; ability to work well in a team environment; willingness to take direction well; and positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
