Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical fields and possess excellent leadership skills.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare professionals
- Monitor and assess patient health status
- Provide guidance on complex medical cases
- Oversee medical documentation and record-keeping
- Implement quality improvement initiatives
-Supervises the clinical and nonclinical staff in the invasive cardiovascular laboratories, including cardiac cath and EP labs and hybrid room(s) and formulates and implements policies and procedures, supports quality improvement initiatives, reviews outcome measures, and initiates needed change. Oversees the implementation of various operational and quality improvement initiatives in the invasive areas which include, but are not limited to, cardiac cath, EP, structural, vascular, and hybrid procedures and other related clinical services.
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (must provide official College transcripts at time of interview).
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois (must provide at the time of interview).
- Five (5) years of full-time nursing experience, required.
- Three (3) years of full-time experience in procedural unit, laboratory (i.e., stress lab, Cath lab, epi), and/or operating room, required.
- Two (2) years of full-time management and/or supervisory experience, required.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular
