Colonna Concrete & Asphalt Paving is seeking a highly motivated and organized construction professional to assist us in managing our multiple projects throughout Connecticut. Our work is primarily for Connecticut Municipalities and consists of road reconstruction, drainage, sidewalks, trails, and streetscapes improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure quantities for payment and review with inspectors.
- Prepare Requisitions for Payment.
- Track labor, equipment, and materials for potential change orders.
- Prepare contractor submittals, RFIs, and coordination with engineers & inspectors.
- Prepare required project documentation, including project schedules and two-week look ahead.
- Participate in project meetings, track meeting minutes and follow up action items.
- Work with construction foremen to order materials and schedule deliveries.
- Assist in preparing bid estimates for public projects.
Skills Required:
- Ability to & maintain field and office records.
- Ability to perform quantity and engineering computations.
- Ability to read & interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to deal effectively with people, communicate effective (written and oral) and possess organizational skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods and procedures.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Must be able to work effectively to meet time requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in construction field and office activities.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Must be familiar with Connecticut 818 Standard Specifications.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
