The Lead Developer on the Custom Tools team will lead development work on two new web applications that will be used daily by population to manage payroll hours and to schedule store leaders. The Lead Developer will oversee the development work of approximately four developers (two in the USA, two in India) as well as spend time developing code themself. The role will work closely with the functional workstream lead to ensure the tools meet the needs of the business, and work with data architects to design a solution that achieves optimal performance.
Oversees a small team of developers for approximately 50% of their time and developing code for approximately 50% of their time. The team includes developers in both the USA and India.
Design and develop two new web applications in Java, React JS, and Spring Boot.
Will work with architects and design the tools for optimal solutions/performance.
Establish coding standards, process for code reviews, code repository, unit testing plan using automation.
Monitors project progress and adjusts tactics to improve progress.
Reviews all artifacts for quality and on-time delivery.
