Nectar Recovery is seeking a Case Manager,
The Case manager plays a crucial role in providing expert counseling and comprehensive case management services under the guidance of the Clinical Director.
This position is pivotal in maintaining a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment in accordance with our organization’s policies, best practices, and procedures.
The Case Manager ensures high-quality care coordination and effective communication within the treatment team to support our residents' recovery and well-being.
Essential Job Functions:
- Resident Safety and Well-being:
- Consistently prioritize the safety and well-being of residents, ensuring all practices contribute to a secure and supportive environment.
- Counseling and Group Facilitation:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions focusing on substance use recovery.
- Lead both topic-specific and process-oriented group sessions that promote health, wellness, and effective crisis management.
- Assessment and Referral:
- Perform thorough initial and ongoing assessments of residents' needs for substance use treatment and other behavioral health services.
- Make appropriate referrals to enhance treatment outcomes and support recovery processes.
- Crisis Intervention:
- Quickly and effectively conduct crisis intervention assessments to address immediate resident needs.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Diligently document all relevant case information in both physical and electronic resident files, adhering strictly to policy requirements.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans, documenting progress and adjusting goals as necessary.
- Professional Collaboration:
- Maintain ongoing communication with a network of professionals including referents, probation officers, EAPs, and family members, adhering to confidentiality agreements.
- Prepare detailed progress notes, event notifications, and other essential documentation in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Group Management:
- Prepare for and manage therapy groups, including attendance tracking, progress note preparation, and curriculum adherence.
- Public Interaction and Case Monitoring:
- Engage with the public, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders, responding effectively to inquiries.
- Monitor caseloads daily to ensure timely completion of essential documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, case reviews, and discharge plans.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in behavioral health case management and counseling.
- Strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment and recovery processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
