Inventory Specialist- Cultivation

Position Overview: Nova Farms is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join the Inventory Team at our outdoor cultivation facility in Woolwich, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate inventory records of all cultivation-related materials, as well as ensuring compliance with state regulations, and optimizing inventory processes for efficiency. The ideal candidate is also responsible for integrating and hybridizing with the Cultivation Team as necessary and as site activities require. This role is crucial in supporting the overall success of our cultivation operations by maintaining order of our materials and products.
Schedule: Full time; Monday-Friday; Winter hours: 9AM - 4PM Regular Season: 8AM - 4PM
Status: Full- time (onsite)
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
Responsibilities:
Inventory:
- Support department leads in maintaining an accurate inventory of cannabis products and supplies.
- Enter and maintain data in METRC, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with electronic records.
- Report inventory statuses regularly to both Inventory and Cultivation Leads, providing updates on inventory levels and any discrepancies.
Cultivation:
- Participate in all cultivation activities as required, including but not limited to pruning, planting, cloning, harvesting, and post-harvest processing.
- Collaborate with the cultivation team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED (Preferred)
- 1 year Inventory Maintenance experience (Preferred)
- 2 years Excel or Google Sheets experience (Preferred)
- 1 year METRC experience (Preferred)
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Massachusetts cannabis regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory related issues quickly and efficiently
