Job Overview:
SMALL TOWN PRACTICE NEAR THREE BIG CITIES- (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, North Carolina)
Busy small town practice in search of full-time dentist to work four to four and a half days doing lots of general dentistry. Compensation is flexible—starting at $175K annually, with additional incentives based on your adjusted production. Hardware includes digital radiography, intraoral cameras, an iCat machine, medical monitoring, soon to have a scanner, and Denticon software program.
Our family practice has been well-established in the Piedmont since 1978. It is excellent for recreation and close enough for commuting from the cities of the Triad. We emphasize mentoring and continuing education, with opportunities for discounted annual credits provided by our affiliate dental continuing education institute.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and x-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Collaborate with a team of dental professionals, including dental hygienists and dental assistants, to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education courses
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proven experience as a Dentist
- Proficient in performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals-may need training in molars) and crowns
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols
- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to provide quality patient care
- Knowledge of medical imaging (iCat available)techniques and interpretation
- Experience using Denticon or similar dental practice management software
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and recordkeeping
