JOB OVERVIEW: THE SERVICE MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE BY DEVELOPING AND
MANAGING A PROFICIENT SERVICE TEAM. THIS ROLE INCLUDES EVALUATING MECHANICAL AND RENOVATION NEEDS, PREPARING
ESTIMATES, DELEGATING TASKS, AND ENSURING TIMELY COMPLETION. THE SERVICE MANAGER WILL HANDLE CUSTOMER CONCERNS,
OPTIMIZE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES, HIRE AND TRAIN SERVICE PERSONNEL, COMPLETE SERVICE QUOTES, CONDUCT VEHICLE
INSPECTIONS, ASSIST WITH INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, AND PERFORM POOL INSPECTIONS FOR REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS. STRONG
LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE OF POOL OPERATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· ULTIMATELY PROVIDING A HIGH LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS BY DEVELOPING AND MANAGING A WELL-
ROUNDED CAPABLE SERVICE TEAM.
· SHOULD BE CAPABLE OF EVALUATING SPECIFIC MECHANICAL AND RENOVATION NEEDS ON EXISTING CLIENTS POOLS AND
PREPARING ESTIMATES TO COMPLETE THE RECOMMENDED WORK.
· DELEGATE AND DIRECT SERVICE TASKS TO THE SERVICE TEAM AND CONDUCT THE PROPER FOLLOW UP TO ENSURE TASKS ARE
COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION AND TO THE COMPANY STANDARDS.
· HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS OR CONCERNS IMMEDIATELY TO HELP PROMOTE AND SUSTAIN GOOD CUSTOMER
RELATIONSHIPS.
· ORGANIZE AND MODIFY POOL MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY OUT OF
TECHNICIANS.
· RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING, TRAINING, AND EVALUATION OF SERVICE PERSONNEL.
· COMPLETE POOL SERVICE QUOTES FOR POTENTIAL RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL POOL SERVICE CUSTOMERS.
· CONDUCT VEHICLE INSPECTIONS OF THE SERVICE FLEET TO ENSURE TECH’S ARE KEEPING VEHICLES STOCKED, ORGANIZED,
AND CLEAN.
· ASSIST IN INVENTORYING AND ORDERING OF ALL SERVICE SUPPLY NEEDS.
· PERFORM POOL INSPECTIONS FOR REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS AND TO GENERATE ADDITIONAL SALES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· MUST POSSESS A GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE MECHANICS AND OPERATIONS OF A POOL IN ORDER TO DIRECT FIELD
TECHNICIANS PROPERLY TO FIX ISSUES WHEN DISPATCHED TO A JOB.
· MUST BE CURRENT ON NEW AND EVOLVING TECHNOLOGY FROM ALL MAJOR BRANDS OF POOL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS.
· MUST HAVE OR BE WILLING COMPLETE CPO TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION
