Responsible for most of the administrative accounting functions within the businesses under and within Military Systems Group as well as creating and improving the current procedures. Lead a team of professionals and manage the company’s IT and HR duties.
· Coordinate and manage the bookkeeping and accounting records for MSG and related businesses
· Responsible for overseeing the daily accounting duties including A/R, A/P, inventory, and job costing
· Develop cash flow projections with input from other team members
· Support management administratively in all projects as necessary
· Improve data accumulation systems for cost and governmental accounting
· Assist in developing cost projections for new and existing products and services
· Assist with contract negotiation and administration
· Payroll tax support including financial reporting, payroll tax, 1099, W-2 preparation, and filings
· Assist with MRP and purchasing decisions
· Develop cost data and accurate inventory valuations and assist in BOM costs as necessary
· Create cash flow analysis, balance sheets and income statements for multiple businesses
· Assist in the creation and maintenance of a document retention system for group of businesses
· Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
· Assist with estimated federal tax calculations
· Generate necessary reports to federal, state, and local tax authorities
· Manage the company’s MSP on all IT tasks
· Manage the company’s 3rd party administration firm with all HR including Benefits
· Develop and maintain a good understanding of the MSG’s product line
· Work with other teams as necessary

· Bachelor’s degree, Accounting preferred
· Good understanding of Microsoft Office Products
· 3-5 years of cost-accounting and finance accounting experience

Desirable Qualifications
- MBA or CPA/CMA and Government Contract Accounting
