Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [State]
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Proficient in medical terminology and dental procedures
- Spanish speaking
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to take vital signs and assist with dental procedures
