Job Description
As a DSP/ PCA, you will:
- Assist client with activities of daily living such as shopping, meal preparation, socialization activities, homemaking and medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for residents.
- Assist residents with medication administration.
- Recognize and document changes in residents condition and safety and report to supervisor.
- Document observations, activities and services provided.
- Assist Client in behavior management
CNA/PCA/Direct Care Aide Job Requirements:
- First Aid and CPR Certification, Medication Administration (Will train).
- Possess two valid forms of ID.
- Complete a successful background study with fingerprint
- Valid drivers license auto insurance if assignment(s) includes driving own vehicle.
- Meets applicable health requirements to provide services to residents.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks to effectively deal with multiple changes.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
Job Type: Part-time, Full Time, Morning, Evening and Overnight Shifts
Experience:
- Home Health: 1 year (Preferred)
License:
- Driver's License (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- Behavior management (Preferred)
