Purpose of Position:
Systematically collects, processes, and performs analyses on data sets. Acquires data from primary or secondary sources and maintains databases. Interprets data, analyzes results, identifies gaps, and provides ongoing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data from various sources
- Streamline data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines
- Utilize existing databases and data systems
- Maintain databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance
- Analyze collected data and format it for easy interpretation by others
- Interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organization
- Prepare reports for organizational leadership to use in a business setting
- Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
- Provide quality assurance of imported data
- Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports
- Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
- Track and report performance of key metrics
Required:
- Experience in SAP (SAP Purchasing a plus) with a minimum of 2-3 years
- Above-average skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Work experience as a data analyst
- Experience participating in cross-functional teams
- Associate's degree in Business or a Technical field
- Technical writing skills
- Basic project management skills and practices
- Ability to create graphs utilizing Microsoft Excel
- Ability to craft presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
