Job Description: This position is responsible for all desserts, daily bread production and other savory baked items for the catering company. This position requires extreme attention to detail with the ability to take direction from the executive pastry chef and Assistant Manager as well as working independently to manage and make quick problem-solving decisions. Our pastries are delicious, made from scratch with local flavors and baked fresh daily. Make life a little sweeter for our wonderful customers who absolutely love our pastries. Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, & some holidays as needed
- Experience with pastry production and oversee quality control
- Team - player
- Experience in all areas of Artisan Quality production including mixing, baking, lamination & decorating
- Experience in a high-production bakery is preferred
- Proficient culinary and baking math skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and stand and walk for long periods of time
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
