Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Agency Marketing to lead our agency's strategic initiatives across multiple platforms and industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing with a particular focus on local SEO strategies. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for strengthening stakeholder relationships, driving growth, building confidence and trust from our franchise partners and customers, and leading a team of marketing professionals to execute innovative campaigns that resonate on a local level.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Develop Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with brand and agency stakeholders to craft overarching marketing strategies that align with the business goals and address the specific needs of 225 small business clients.
- Innovate Services Offered: Continuously evaluate the service offerings to stay ahead of market trends and maintain competitive advantage.
Client Management and Growth
- Oversee Client Portfolios: Manage and evaluate the performance and strategy alignment for all client accounts ensuring maximum satisfaction and retention.
- Build Strong Relationships: Maintain and nurture high-level relationships with key clients, ensuring their marketing needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage Marketing Teams: Oversee multiple teams within the agency, ensuring effective collaboration, professional growth, and optimal performance.
- Recruit Top Talent: Identify and recruit top-tier talent to enhance the capabilities of the marketing team.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor Marketing Campaigns: Regularly review and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies across all client accounts.
- Ensure ROI for Clients: Implement tools and processes to measure key performance indicators and return on investment for client campaigns.
- Report Findings to Executive Team: Provide comprehensive reports and insights to the executive team, facilitating informed decision-making.
Budget Management
- Allocate Resources Efficiently: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across the departments and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as vice president or director of marketing at an agency, with a proven track record in key aspects of managing the agency including budgets, teams and agency relations.
- At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in local SEO and PPC
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and building teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficient in reporting tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics) and familiar with CRM software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Google Analytics Certification
