We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and Legal Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. The role of the AP/AR and Legal Clerk is to accurately and efficiently keep our payables and receivables up to date.

Primary Job Duties:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Upload and pull files for payments
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Provide clerical support to the legal department
Secondary Job Duties:
- Match incoming mail to specific files for payments
- Match checks for payment processing
- Scan and upload legal documents
- Organize legal files and destroy according to guidelines and procedures
- Keep an up-to-date inbox of tasks assigned
- Backup office support duties, including uploading and filing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of Accounting experience
- 1 year of legal support experience
- Strong data entry skill and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills in various systems, especially Microsoft Excel
- Multitasking capabilities
- Time management and organization skills
Compensation
The salary for this position is expected to range from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Placement in the compensation range is determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule
It is essential that this position adhere to the assigned work schedule. This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week:
- Monday - 8am-6pm
- Tuesday - 8am-5pm
- Wednesday: 8am-6pm
- Thursday: 8am-5pm
- Friday: 8am-3pm
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
