Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Staff Supervisor to join our team. The Clinical Staff Supervisor will oversee the clinical operations and provide guidance to a team of clinical staff. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of pain management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to a team of clinical staff
-Carry out routine hiring, performance reviews, discipline and terminations of staff
-Assist Clinical Team Lead in onboarding of new providers with EMR and growing schedule
-Mentor/guide Clinical Team Lead in supervisory role
-Scheduling including approval/denial of PTO requests
-Approve/deny work from home requests
-Ensure medical assistant scribe staff have plan for the day and expectations.
-Oversee training of scribes in clinics and new providers brought aboard to LPC.
-Monitor compliance of scribe staff in clinics with protocols and procedures
-Manage providers schedules optimizing provider’s time and preferences
-Monitor changing staffing needs on provider’s schedules daily/weekly
-Scheduling including approval/denial of PTO requests
-Scheduling including assigning clinical staff to six LPC clinics
-Develop scribe staff members’ skills
-Collaborate with Director of Nursing, Practice Manager and Front Office Supervisor to sustain all best practices
-Adhere to, support, and scribe lawful, accurate documentation in the patient’s electronic medical health records, updating patient’s information at every visit.
-Build trusting relationships within clinical staff and with interdepartmental staff
-Adhere to and support the mission, vision, values, philosophy, objectives, policies, and
procedures of the Center
-Collaborate with Director of Nursing, Clinical Operations Administrator and Front Office Supervisor to develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators and best practices to optimize interdepartmental productivity/efficiency
Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher
Previous medical experience, managing staff experience is preferred
Demonstrated 1-3 years medical assisting/staff supervision experience
Experience in office-based procedures
Demonstrated proficiency computer keyboard skills
Demonstrated proficiency electronic scheduling system
