We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to provide the highest quality compounded prescriptions medications to our patients. We pride ourselves on the custom compounding of medications to suit patient specific needs. In addition to compounding, we also offer Compounded Weight Loss Injections via Central Fill, and a wide variety of wellness items and supplements to strive for positive health impacts within our community, taking a proactive approach to health. We carry a variety of home medical equipment options, mobility aids, compression stockings and diabetic shoes, pharmaceutical grade supplements, and professional grade CBD products. Job Description: Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in accurately and efficiently preparing and dispensing medication orders
- Perform proper technique in the preparation of non-sterile products
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling
- Process medication orders, including data entry
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug interactions to ensure patient safety
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; GA pharmacy technician license required
- Previous experience working in a compounding pharmacy setting is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks; ability to work within a Team, while maintaining self-driven behaviors to strive for quality and excellence
