The Flowtronex division of MCI designs, manufactures, and sells water pumping and purification products throughout the world. We specialize in remote access and management for support and operation. Position:
A Product Support Technician is responsible for service/support and parts sales for all products manufactured by MCI. You will play a vital role in providing support to all our customers and Field Service Technicians worldwide. They are responsible for administering warranty claims and ensuring proper feedback to manufacturing to continuously improve our products. In the process of supporting the equipment, you must be able to research and analyze proprietary documents and determine the proper operation of equipment to assist customers and service technicians.
Our Pump Stations are controlled by programmable logic controllers and incorporate variable-speed motor control. We also provide remote communications packages that allow for adjustment and control of the customer’s equipment, ensuring seamless operation and management.
Experience in Electrical Controls, PLC Logic, and Variable Frequency Drives is helpful. PC skills are required, and excellent communication with our customers and internal departments is a must. We provide training for individuals with the appropriate background.
Primary Duties:
- Support parts sales and calls for technical assistance.
- Providing support via phone and email to customers, Service Centers, distributors and employees regarding service, parts, and equipment in the field.
- Preparing written and verbal quotations.
- Selling parts and accessories and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide field information and feed back to the Engineering and Management team to improve our products or correct errors.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience with pumps and electrical controls
- Prior experience with replacement parts sales
- Strong customer service attitude and aptitude
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
