**Job Description:**
LA On Site Fleet Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with a focus on accounting responsibilities. This role will primarily involve managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, processing invoices, and assisting with general administrative tasks. **Responsibilities:**
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and bill payments.
- Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy in accounting systems.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense management.
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist with other office tasks and projects as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant with a focus on accounting tasks.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
