The Children's Community Head Start program is looking to hire a UPK Teacher and a Preschool Teacher for our Port Jefferson Center. Teachers are responsible for planning and facilitating developmentally appropriate lessons, screening children for developmental delays, tracking children's progress towards school readiness goals, parent engagement and communication. We offer paid sick personal and vacation time after 3 months, 12-14 paid holidays per year, paid tuition reimbursement and retirement benefits after 1 year. A minimum of an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or in process of that degree, is required. B-2 or N-6 Certification is required to be considered for the UPK position. Bilingual a plus (includes additional compensation).

Pay: $19.49 - $22.80 per hour
