We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care to patients and supporting their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording vital signs (such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature).
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Handling phone calls and managing communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Updating and maintaining electronic health records including documenting patient histories and other relevant information.
- Completing insurance forms and other administrative documents.
- Sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
- Providing patients with information about medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Managing inventory of medical supplies and equipments
- Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and other staff.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certification
- Previous experience working as a MedicalAssistant.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs
