Our company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic, growing team at The Aurora @ Twenty Seven Hundred apartment community!

The Assistant Property Manager serves as back-up to the Property Manager for our 280-unit multi-family apartment community. Customer service knowledge and experience are important, as you are the face of the community.
Hours will include weekdays and some weekends on a rotating basis. You will receive time off during the week when you are scheduled to work on the weekend.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Securing new leases
- Attracting and educating new tenants
- Assisting with collections and applying rent to tenant accounts
- Assisting with evictions
- Ensuring all work orders are processed in a timely fashion
- Assisting with the resolution of resident complaints
- Enforcing property rules and regulations
- Helping supervise and train the staff
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager of a 200+ unit apartment community
- 3+ years of industry experience
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Working knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles, property safety and use of Rent Manager software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to speak Spanish and English a plus
- Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
- Competence in personal computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as Rent Manager
- Solid understanding of the Fair Housing Act, as well as apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state and local levels
- Strong customer service, conflict resolution, communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and the ability to be pleasant under all circumstances
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and represents the company in a professional manner at all times
