The Network Representative is responsible for providing support to the Network Managers with varied functions including creating and maintaining effective working relationships with premier / assigned providers to ensure consistent communication and marketing efforts. The qualified candidate will be responsible for fostering physician engagement and helping to generate membership through grassroots efforts with assigned offices, network managers and other resources.
Responsibilities for Candidates
- Work closely with Network Managers, primary care physicians, physician office staff, brokers and health plan representatives to ensure objectives are met and promote exposure and participation by providers actively assisting with growth efforts.
- Determine appropriate channels to maximize physician exposure within cost confinements.
- Establish communication mechanisms at assigned physician offices to increase awareness and PCP representation/attendance at health fairs and other events. Seek and coordinate marketing/exposure opportunities for Premier Physicians and other providers as identified by Network Managers.
- Provide PCPs with a variety of mechanisms to increase enrollment through collaboration with internal and external resources.
- Field and/or originate calls to capture and track data using various communication approaches. Schedule appointments via outbound/inbound calls to participating physicians and staff.
- Field and/or originate calls to capture and track data using various communication approaches. Ensure all calls/efforts are documented in IDX or designated database.
- Collaborate with Network Management team to communicate information and assist with provider issue resolutions that may impact other team members. Assist with various membership growth and retention functions such as working Age-Ins (64 year old prospects) 3 months prior to their 65th birthday and maintaining tracking reporting for membership growth or IPA initiated transfers.
Qualifications for Candidates
Minimum of 3 years of HMO/IPA experience within healthcare industry. Must have and maintain, in good-standing a Drivers License. Marketing / sales experience preferred. High School diploma or GED Bachelors degree.
