Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding activities.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and providing constructive feedback.
- Identify and address performance issues and develop improvement plans.
- HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on various HR-related topics.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Payroll, Compensation and Benefits:
- Work with 3rd party payroll provided to process bi-weekly payroll
- Keep track of employee payroll information and report changes to payroll processor
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Support the annual salary review process and compensation benchmarking.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits and compensation-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a professional services or CPA firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and working knowledge of employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $68,500.00 - $95,000.00 per year
