Contracted Technology Liaison
Terms of Employment: 3rd Party Contract; 5.75 hours per day for 180 days per school year
Contract Commitment/Compensation: $15.14/hour
Job Goal: The job of Technology Liaison will be to support the virtual and online learning of students.
Reports to: Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Experience supervising children and organizing programs
- Understand the basics of best practice instruction including workshop, inquiry-based learning, and technology integration
- Proficient command of the written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of technology including: Microsoft and classroom technology: iPads, Smartboard, Apple TV, and Document Cameras including trouble shooting for use of this technology
- Conduct daily inventory and operational evaluation of classroom technology with reporting to the district technology department as needed
- Monitor classroom blog activity, help students use blogging as a tool to communicate their thinking and collaborate with others
- Assume primary responsibility of Dreambox Technology for math intervention in the following ways: schedule lab time for classroom, print student Dreambox reports for teachers and parents, monitor student use of Dreambox, help students utilize the Dreambox program
- Engage in daily collaboration and debriefing of the daily program.
- Experience in online research techniques such as determining useful search words and media types, analyzing site trustworthiness and content, and downloading and importing text, graphics, and sound files
- Hold an Associate’s Degree or credit equivalent (work keys does not meet this equivalent)
