What You'll Do:
Provides first tier information about Benefits, Staffing, Compensation, Training, Career Development, Performance Evaluations, Employee Self Service Systems, Guest Teachers, Employee/Labor Relations, Employee events, etc.; handles a high volume of calls and email inquiries, escalating as needed and forwarding to appropriate resources within the department.
Assists employees with questions and various Human Resources (HR) form and application processing, such as benefit plan enrollment/change documents.
Troubleshoots and resolves system issues for the online application system, employee self service portal, and HR website.
Maintains logs and complete reporting requirements in an accurate timely manner.
Supports HR communication and change initiatives that go out to all employees from Human Resources (i.e. open enrollment, incentive payments, staff reductions, etc.).
Maintains current on all aspects of HR policy, benefits, information or events, including eligibility, policy, procedures, benefits, vendor contact information, costs, etc.
Provides support for records management, I9 compliance tracking and related human resources duties, as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) or more years of customer service experience, HR onboarding, or HR technician/analyst/generalist experience.
Experience working in a high volume recruitment or staffing environment or in an inbound Call Center.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines.
The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance.
Works collaboratively with others on a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of calls and email.
Experience with data entry and HRIS software is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs. Google Sheets, Google Slides.
Bilingual skills in Spanish/English preferred.
