Responsible for proactively contacting existing and potential producers/Agencies to increase long term care insurance sales. Established sales plan and identifies ways to increase sales. Conducts outbound telephone calls, follows-ups on meetings conducted by Territory Sales Managers and performs sales presentations. Set up appointments, prospects and profiles possible producers. Supports producer’s sales needs while building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking. Conduct highly effective prospecting to attract qualified agents to meet sales plan.
· Grow long term care insurance sales by working in coordination with Territory Sales Manager to maximize customer service and relationships.
· Manage broker/dealers, brokerage firms, financial planners, banks, and/or independent agents for Long Term care products.
· Create, plan and execute sales campaigns including utilization of sales aids and promotional material. Executing sales campaigns and monitors to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
· Identify client needs and suggests product offerings and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
· 5 years of insurance sales experience, preferably with long-term care products.
· Proven track record of success through achieving/exceeding assigned sales goals.
· Strong account management skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
· Proficient in using technology for sales purposes (e.g., Salesforce)
· Superior sales skills with a results-oriented focus.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
· Must have or willing to obtain a valid Health/Life License in state of residency.
· Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
