- Work in-office in Los Angeles, CA five days a week, Monday through Friday
- Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boards
- Communicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in person
- Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions within the organization
- Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills
- Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates
- Investigate referrals and references sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events
- Communicate with selected applicants to offer employment
- Negotiate salary and benefits with candidates
- Coordinate and process onboarding
- Communicate with managers cross-functionally to coordinate and schedule interviews
- Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
- Maintain accurate record-keeping of all applicants and retention files for required period
- Provide weekly reports/updates to the HR manager
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Enforce company policies through effective and efficient communication
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting
- Experience within the property management/real estate field is strongly preferred but NOT required
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizing skills
- Must be able to exercise good judgement
- Must be willing to drive within Los Angeles County and conduct marketing activities related to recruitment
