JOB DESCRIPTION
SALES
Supervised directly by the Store Manager; supervised by the Assistant
Manager in the Manager's absence.
Responsibilities
1. Attains personal sales goals by developing selling skills through Company training programs.
2. Achieves sales goal by maintaining a daily focus on standards achievement.
3. Makes an active, assertive effort to sell the guest. Seeks to identify and sell according to the guest’s needs and buying potential. Works the leaseline and payment counter in an effort to solicit sales. Participates in guest calling on a regular basis.
4. Sells Warranty and Services
5. Performs guest calling, personalized outreach and builds a client base through effective relationship buildin.
6. Develops a complete knowledge of the merchandise. Learns the features and benefits through sales meetings, trade magazines and independent study. Completes the Diamontology course.
7. Develops guest service skills to provide quality service to the guest, thus assuring repeat sales.
8. Handles guest complaints quickly, efficiently and courteously.
9. Develops a full understanding of Company sales, payment option policies and procedures.
10. Follows all Company directives, policies and procedures.
11. Monitors and maintains the saleability of the merchandise (i.e., that it is ticketed properly, clean and attractively displayed).
12. Carefully and accurately estimates costs on jewelry and watch repairs.
Provides minor repair service as necessary.
13. Maintains the appearance of the sales floor and display areas. Keeps showcases, windows, back rooms and understock clean and orderly.
14. Conducts himself/herself in a manner that will merit the goodwill and respect of guests and fellow Team Members. Consistently maintains a neat, professional appearance in keeping with the established Dress Code
Policy.
15. Implements merchandising and advertising programs. Sets up advertised merchandise displays. Reports guest requests. Conducts and assists with merchandise inventories, as requested.
16. Assists in merchandise control areas as designated by the Manager: transfers, merchandise orders, and daily merchandise piece counts.
17. Enforces all policies regarding security. Exercises every effort to protect
Company interests.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.

General
I. Work Schedule
A. As required by the individual store to include evenings and weekends.
B. Three (3) nights per week or as required by the Store Manager.
C. Sunday on alternate basis or as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
