The Business Development Appointment Setter will promote our business and expand our customer base by generating new prospects. The ultimate goal is to book sales appointments for Security Sales Consultant. This position reports to the Sales Manager. This department is not responsible for closing deals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Contact prospective customers using a pre-written script to schedule appointments for the sales team.
· On a daily basis make at least 75 cold calls to prospects. Commission paid per appointment set. Bonuses are paid on every appointment that turns into a sale.
· Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made during the first call.
· Confirm scheduled appointment and reschedule any appointment conflicts.
· Post scheduled appointments in a CRM for the sales team.
· Follow up with the Sales Manager to find out if the appointment was kept and the outcome.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements;
· Strong willingness to be on the phone all day talking to prospects.
· Self-motivated with an intrinsic drive to sell.
· Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals.
· Professionally represent the company on the phone and give prospects information on our security products.
· Excellent phone etiquette; friendly, persuasive, and courteous.
· Ability to handle customer rejections without being rude.
· Ability to learn a CRM.

Pay: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
