Bachelor's in Communications, English or a related field preferred.

FULL-TIME 12-MONTH POSITION WITH BENEFITS
Annual Salary Range: $58,000-$60,000
This is a ConfidentIal Administrative Assistant position.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a professional office setting
- Strong communication, professional writing, and editing skills
- General understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel, and other computer applications
- Experience using a Content Management System to manage an organizational website
- Understanding of online survey tools; Qualtrics experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Canva with an eye for design
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to travel from one location within the district to another during the workday
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the offices of the superintendent and communication.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, preparing reports, managing billing requisitions, and providing customer service.
- Facilitate internal/external recognition programs.
- Coordinate and project manage programs that support families in need throughout the year.
- Attend various meetings with parents and key communicator groups for the purpose of preparing meeting minutes in a timely fashion.
- Assist in the preparation and management of various communications using various print, electronic, and online tools.
- Manage and coordinate calendars, appointments, and room reservations for various events and activities related to the superintendent’s office and the communications office.
- Annually support the development of a district-wide calendar and a district-wide activities calendar.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
