Job Description:
Protegra Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, including troubleshooting issues
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
-Administer contrast material as required for enhanced imaging
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- ARRT certification in CT required
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy
- Experience with mammography, X-Ray, PET scans, nuclear medicine, and aseptic techniques is a plus
