Position: Drill Operators - Small Diameter (Geotechnical)
Pay rate: DOE
Travel: Yes Regional Travel in Mid-Atlantic (Per Diem provided)
We are currently looking for Small Diameter Drill Operators to join our Geotechnical Group in the Virginia area, Central PA and surrounding territories. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and dependable individual. This individual must have the ability to communicate efficiently, work well with others and direct others assisting in the work. The candidate should have experience in earth work and drilling, such as micropiles. Extensive travel is a requirement of this position as work is performed in the Mid-Atlantic and South East regions. Per diem allowance is provided in addition to base pay/benefits when travel is required.
The Geotechnical Construction Services group provides services for projects requiring foundations and earth retention systems. Work is performed outdoors year round.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist in maintaining Drill Rigs, installing tie backs, micro piles, soil mats etc.
- Experience preparing Grout for tiebacks, micro piles etc. is a plus
- Perform minor repairs and service to equipment
- Supervision of drill rig helpers to tool or mix grout
- Develop a full understanding of the Wagman safety policies and procedures and promote our safe culture
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and 30 pounds to above shoulder level throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.
- Position requires acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
