Job Title: Special needs Personal Assistant
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support healthy nutrition and activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Foster communication
- Support leisure activities and adaptive skills
- Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with autism or other behavioral challenges
- Ensure the rights and dignity of clients are respected at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients
-ABA experience is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working with teens and adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
