The Assistant General Manager of the Reno Division will be responsible for demonstrating the Producers Dairy Core Values and helping to live our purpose of Nourishing Lives. Some travel will be required.

This position is responsible for:

- In collaboration with, and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- In collaboration with the VP of Sales develops and recommends product assortment, positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- Actively involved in the 3-to-5-year vision of capital projects as well as monitoring and managing the execution of capital projects to be on budget and completed on time.
- Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Monitors competitor products and sales activities.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Guides preparation of sales activity reports and presents to executive management.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Directs talent, training, and performance management to develop and control sales program.
- Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Promotes and maintains company teamwork in all areas. Assists others and performs other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary. Helps promote the positive image of the company in the trade.
- Adheres to all applicable Federal, State, County and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of milk and dairy products.
- Participate and present Town Hall discussions as to the state of the Model Dairy business.
- Coach and mentor a diverse Team Member group treating them the way you want to be treated.
