The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
- Read and interpret BEO’s for set up and service of each day’s functions.
- Follow instructions given by Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager and Captains.
- Assist with meal functions.
- Refresh meeting rooms.
- Clean meeting rooms and front and back of house. Perform various cleaning activities as needed.
- Handle all guest contact requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Clean/organize storage areas frequently.
- Take care to ensure equipment is handled safely.
- Report maintenance needs to Banquet Manager.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Banquet Manager, Assist. Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain, and the Food & Beverage Director based upon the particular requirements of the Hotel.
Please be aware this job does require moving tables, chairs, etc. and we are looking for someone who is willing and able to lift, carry, etc. upwards to 20 lbs.
